Personal Shoot: Coco

One of the joys of allowing space for personal shoots is the specific incentive to push beyond a place of comfort toward play, spontaneity, and new discoveries. Having a collaborative muse can be so helpful in that effort. I’ve photographed model, artist, and designer Coco in the past, so we share an established sense of comfort and trust. The goal? Use simple idea in new and creative ways without a set plan for execution. We combined Coco’s skills in movement, the use of simple materials (paper backgrounds and fabric), and beautiful shifting natural light to create a collection of images with a spirit of connection and ethereal beauty.
