LOOM Imports is a mission-based organization that works hand in hand with women’s co-ops and independent heritage craft artisans to design and produce unique collections of handmade home decor. For the last 10 years LOOM founder Mae Link has developed partnerships with makers around the world, while curating a wide variety of textiles and home accessories for her customers. In 2024, LOOM is shifting its focus to specializing on handmade wool rugs with an option to create customizable floor coverings in any color and pattern. Their rugs are woven in B Corp certified Fair Trade family workshops, using natural dyes, eco friendly materials and traditional foot pedal loom weaving techniques.

My goal with this product photography and branding shoot was to create a rich and impactful image collection to support and celebrate these big changes. I wanted to showcase the vibrant, fully customizable designs and rich color palette along with the rich heritage of the handmade process and sustainable materials. There are large arrangements of products displayed in a room setting, groupings of rugs collected together to demonstrate the enticing variety, artfully styled close-up colorway flatlays to highlight the excellent quality of craftsmanship and rich hues, and a few shots incorporating hands to honor the skill and artistry of the people behind the creations.
