Personal Shoot: Lola + Light

Inspiration can enter like the gentle invitation of a whisper or like the undeniable current of a wind. The moment I first saw Lola I knew I had to photograph her. I hadn’t felt that powerful a nudge in some time, and as many of you know, instinct can be persistent. It wasn’t just that she spoke to me as an intriguing subject it’s that my own desire to create completely and totally for MYSELF had been pushed into dormancy and was released through this singular spark, demanding to be heard. And so I listened. I hope you see these few images from the session the part of me that fell in love with the power of light and images, the part of me that feels the most alive through the joyful act of play and creation.
