Gan Shan West

Gan Shan West, the newer and much smaller sibling to chef and owner Patrick O'Cain's Gan Shan Station, is a sweet, intimate eatery with an eclectic but paired down menu. It's the perfect spot to curl into a steaming bowl of ramen or veggie-festooned rice on a rainy day or engage in conversation with family and friends over a table filled with food that both nourishes and delights. Since ingredients take center stage here I went for a minimal approach with my food photography featuring subtle textured black and white backgrounds and artful compositions that would best showcase the colorful and heart warming experience of food made with love.
